Joanne Darley RVN Veterinary Nurse

I qualified in 2001 and worked in small animal practice for 8 years, before deciding on a career break to train as a primary school teacher. Five years later, realising that my heart still lay in veterinary nursing, I returned to small animal practice and after 2 years working in a veterinary hospital, I came to Alders in Bourne. I enjoy all aspects of my job but my particular interests lay in feline and rabbit nursing. Sadly I do not currently have any furry friends at home, but until recently I enjoyed being 'owned' by my 19 year old black cat 'Cass', and my 12 year old bunny 'Jack'. Working in practice, I am sure I won't stay without a pet for too long!
