Emergency Care

There's always someone to help

We’re here to help your pet, no matter what time they need us

Just like humans, animals can’t control when they fall ill or have an accident. That’s why it’s important to know that no matter what time of the day or night they might require veterinary assistance, there’s always someone on hand to help.

Should your pet ever need urgent medical help after the practice has closed for the day, simply ring our reception number on 01775 766646 (Spalding) or 01778 422863 (Bourne) as normal. You will then be redirected to Vets Now Peterborough.

You will be asked to describe what has happened to your pet, and the severity of any injuries or symptoms they might have. The professional on the end of the phone will then decide if you need to bring your pet in to the surgery for treatment. If the problem is not urgent, they will advise you on how best to keep your pet comfortable until the morning when you can attend a normal surgery appointment.
