Health Checks

Give your pet the best start

Give your young pet the best start in life by bringing them to see our team regularly

A new pet is always an extremely exciting addition to the family, especially if they’re your first household animal. However, it’s important that they receive lots of care and attention during their first few weeks and months to make sure they grow and develop properly, and are free from any uncomfortable or dangerous health conditions.

That’s why we strongly recommend that you bring your new pet in to see us for a health check with a nurse once a month until they’re six months old. This allows us to monitor their progress and identify any problems at the earliest stages. It also helps them to get used to being in a veterinary environment with plenty of people fussing over them, which will help to reassure them if they need to have any tests or procedures done in their adult life.
